This estimate implies a projection of 291.8 million online buyers who will spend $160 billion on cross-border e-commerce by 2020.
This represents an increase of 128 million cross-border online shoppers in 2015. The share of online shoppers who buy cross-border goods is expected to increase dramatically from one projection of 40% this year to 50.7% in 2020.
