In fact, billionaires are businessmen who need to move within the country or abroad, and the private jet has become a practical means of transport, and also to rise socially since owning a jet is a very good thing in China, something that gives a lot of “face”, critical in the country. China has 1,000 Chinese called “super rich” and their average fortune is amounted to 1.04 billion dollars, which allows them to easily purchase a jet.
Millionaires in China
The number of billionaires seems to fly and it is the same for millionaires. As for its billionaires, China is the second country to have the most millionaires after the United States. In 2014, 2.4 million Chinese were millionaires. They were 1.5 million in 2013, making 14% of the total. Chinese millionaires are present on the agri-food and tobacco fields.
The pool of very rich increases every day and they get younger! It has been projected that by 2020 there will be more billionaire in China than anywhere else in the world.
For your brand this means :
More very big investors that are, just like every other Chinese, very interested in the markets outside China, Western, and African market alike.
What you should do is
Increase your brand image and brand awareness as much as you can to become a trustworthy and famous brand in their eyes.
Let’s say you are a start up owner and you want to sell your company, be seen in China and maybe Alibaba will make you an offer you can’t refuse.
Let’s say you are a High Tech company wanting to enter the Chinese market that need a partnership with local internet firm, doing business with Ma Huateng would be most useful.
For all of these you need to use the right channel, to give the right message to the right millionaires and billionaires for huge investments in the end.
